The White Buffalo District 2008 Twilight Camp will be held June 9-13 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Ridgewood-Belcher Park (at the corner of Fisher and Trammel Roads in East Dallas. All Tiger Cubs and Cub Scouts are invited to participate in this fun-filled event. Do you have a friend who is interested in Tiger Cubs or Cub Scouts? Please bring them with you. The District Pinewood Derby Race was held on Saturday April 5, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, 6121 E Lovers Ln in Dallas. The District Committee sends out hearty congratulations to the winners of the race.
Camporee
The 2008 White Buffalo District Camporee was held at Camp Meisenbach on 28-30 March 2008. Approximately 100 Webelos Scouts, Boy Scouts and adult leaders attended the event, weathering a rain shower on Friday and Saturday nights. The Wacondi Hatachi Chapter of the OA provided a great bonfire for the evening campfire. Special thanks go out to Gray Powers and the Wacondi Hatachi Chapter for another great event!
Scouting for Food
White Buffalo units gathered for the 2008 Scouting for Food drive this past February. A big thank you goes out to our unit leaders and Scouts for collecting non-perishable items for those in need.
